Another excellent performance is laid down by Kate Suppes as “Percy”, the trickiest character of the bunch. Percy has a lot going on, trauma-wise, and through all of the peaks and valleys, Suppes manages to keep Percy on the tracks, her strong and well-trained voice tearing through melodious legit singing and clarion belt notes with strength and virtuosity. When it comes time to break our hearts with Percy’s backstory, she delivers the material bravely and without hesitation.

Kate Suppes making her OHP debut in the lead role is vibrant and expressive. When this reviewer thought she was very good, she went further, onto greatness! As the story unfolds, Percy’s character develops into a strong, more self-assured person, and Kate projects marvelously.

The latest topic that has the town talking is the arrival of ex-con Percy Talbott (a delightful and ably belt-voiced Kate Suppes), who hopes to start a new life in Gilead...Suppes creates a multidimensional character showing a wide range of emotions. We're rooting for her from the moment she arrives grasping the picture map of Gilead which inspired her hope in fresh starts.

Kate Suppes and Charlene Villareal, who played Fantine and Eponine, respectively, both hit it out of the park with their signature numbers.
